Product overview SH Tunnel fire-retardant coating is a kind of fire-proof and thermal insulation coating with inorganic materials as main as main ingredients. It is featured by strong adhesive strength, excellent physical & chemical properties, high fire endurance, no toxic smoke or harmful gases, etc, used in fire-proof protection of various kinds of tunnels and other building concrete surface; in addition to improve fire endurance, its performance of high adhesion strength and excellent performance of the coating after drying are also applied to the vibration environment within the tunnel when the vehicles pass through; It has good fire resistance and aging resistance and can form a solid and durable construction structure; It is the preferred product for tunnel fire protection and tunnel structure protection.

Construction method A.Surface of the coated steel structure shall be throughly de-rusted and pre-painted de-rust primer; quality of cement mortar and concreter base shall comply with GB50210-2001 Code for Construction Quality Acceptance of Building Decoration. Substrate surface shall be clean, dry, solid and free of oil pollution, with PH value less than 10. In case of old coating structure, the loose and peeling-off coating film shall be removed and polished; if there are cracks on the surface, apply putty to smooth the surface.
B.Surface priming: Before construction of the coating, base glue should be applied for priming, when priming ,use protable spray gun, with thickness of 1-2mm and it is good for priming layer to be basically uniform.
C.Base glue formulation: Base glue is formulated according to: SH coating: water=1:3:3.1(Water consumption is slightly adjusted to be applied for spraying or brushing coating).
D.Fire-retardant paint mixing: SH coating is powder mixture, added appropriate water in low-speed mixer and mixed to be thick slurry. Mixing time is 5-10min, not too fast and it is right to mix evenly.
Mixing proportion: SH paint: water=1:0.86.
F.Coating thickness: Under normal circumstances, coating thickness each time is controlled in 5-10mm, the secondary coating interval time is 24h(when temperature is 20℃),as environment temperature is different, its interval time should be adjusted accordingly(see construction instruction for details).
Notes The coating is of single component, the whole package should be mixed when using, after coating layer reaches the design thickness, it will achieve the corrsponding strength after maintenance for 28 days.
